The tent

Hi, I'm Matt.

Thanks for stopping by my campsite. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and I built my first website when I was 13. I've been building them ever since.

I started my company, MJM Design, in November 2005. I've also built a few things for myself along the way, like CbusJobs.com, Rent Merchant and a handful of iPhone apps.

When I'm not working, I'm usually outside somewhere with my camera, out on a trail or looking for interesting light around Las Vegas.

Photography isn't my job. It's something I've always been drawn to. Here are a few from the desert, the night sky and the storms over Las Vegas.

The storm

Lightning over Las Vegas

These come from the monsoon storms that roll over the Strat and downtown Las Vegas. I've caught a lot of lightning frames over the years.

Two moons

A crescent and a full moon, both shot with my Sony a6500 at 210mm. The crescent shows more crater detail, because that's where the sunlit side meets the shadow.

The USAF Thunderbirds are based at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. Here are a couple of my photos of them.

My work

MJM Design is my web design and digital marketing company. I started it in Cleveland in November 2005 and moved it to Columbus in 2009.

Over the years I've worked with all kinds of clients, from small mom-and-pop shops to growing non-profits, large universities and major medical systems.
